3D Printer specs

The Objet Connex 350 3D printer is one of the most advanced 3D printers on the market today. The system gives product designers freedom to realize their full design intent through the utilization of varying materials and complex geometries.

The system’s benefits and features will allow you to get your product to market faster.

  • Multi-modulus parts: Print rigid and flexible sections in the same part.
  • Multiple colors in one part: Print different colors on the same part; works great with text on a part
  • Large Selection of Materials: 60 different materials are available; from clear to opaque and rigid to flexible, we have your application covered.
  • Large print area: 13.4 x 13.4 x 7.9 inches; parts that are larger than the print area can either be scaled down or assembled together after printing.
  • High Accuracy: 16 micron print layers
  • High Speed: Typically parts can be printed within a few hours.
  • Thin Walls: Can print walls down to 0.024 inches.
  • File Input: Utilizes CAD file types STL and STP from commercial CAD software programs.

Selective Laser Sintering specs

The selective laser sintering (SLS) DTM 2500 uses a laser to sinter (meld through heating) fine nylon particles together in a layer additive process.

The process lends itself to producing larger parts and cost-competitive bulk runs.

Machine specifications

  • Large print area: 11 x 12 x 17 inches; parts that are larger than the print area can be either scaled down or assembled together after printing.
  • File Input: Utilizes CAD file types STL and STP from commercial CAD software programs.
  • Bulk Quantities: Process is cost-efficient in large quantities.
