Standardized Testing
MPI performs test methods in accordance with numerous standardized testing procedures, including those of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), the International Standards Organization (ISO), military standards and others. These standardized processes ensure accuracy and reproducibility of our results.
Custom Testing
MPI can provide custom testing, specific to your company’s needs. These tests can range from modified standardized tests to completely custom tests designed to replicate your product’s application or a specific usage.
These custom tests can range from extremely simple setups that utilize existing, standard test fixtures to complete custom methods that require extensive test fixture development.
Analytical Testing
MPI’s analytical testing capabilities consist of a vast array of services, including compositional analysis, analysis of unknown materials and product identification. MPI also maintains a fully capable and functional wet chemistry lab where a wide range of sample preparation methods can be performed, including Soxlet extraction, various solvent washes and vacuum extractions.
Physical Testing
MPI provides a full range of testing for physical and mechanical properties. These services include, but are not limited to, thermal properties, tensile strength and impact resistance. From flexural property determination to melt flow rate, it is likely that we have the equipment and know-how to provide you with answers.
