We have a multitude of in-house capabilities as well as access to equipment at The University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Polymers and High Performance Materials. Utilizing methods such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Electron Microscopy, We can determine properties, composition, changes and much more.
Physical and Mechanical Testing: MPI’s expertise and equipments cover a multitude of testing scenarios related to physical and mechanical properties -- from thermal properties, tensile strength and impact resistance to flexural property determination and melt flow rate.
Utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation such as Instron mechanical testing machines, Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analyzers (TGA), MPI can test your product’s physical properties over a range of temperatures and cycles.
